Me too. Its a shame that wehave to race against our own. Im writing it off as practice, untill GM and Mopar get their Sh_t together and produce something that resembles and performs like an American Machine.We are all going to have a big time head start in experience and mods before they even get anything on paper (finalized)let alone on the road. Until that happens good racing everybody.

I would have to say that the new 4.0 v6's can hold their own. Many have just 4.10 gears, exhaust, intake and tune and can run with new edge GT's. I myself wouldnt get a v6 unless they only made the Mustang in a v6, but even then I dont know. No there is nothing wrong with a v6 Stang, but if you want performance and sound, get the v8. I honestly think the 3v's with gears, exhaust, intake, cams and a tune can run pretty close with a GT500. I know there are some guys that have ran 12.8 in the 1/4 mile with just exhaust, intake and tune, and you figure the cams would lower the 1/4 mile time another .4-.6, so yeah, I rather have a GT than pay for a GT500.

Huh? Are you even reading the question? I'm not saying anything about BEATING a GT500, just mentioning that a GT would have more of a chance seeing a GT500 tail lights than a V-6 would against a GT. Learn to comprehend, please, you're making us Mustang owners look bad..........

2) How are we making "you Mustang owners" look bad?"We" dont have to make you look bad, because you already make yourself look like a jerk. Last time I checked, the Mustang wouldn't still be around without V6 sales.
