Are the Mustang/GT badges on the sidewall bolted on or just simply stuck on? I was washing the car yesterday, and found that it could be just simply stuck on, just the those cheap stripes that fell out a while ago. I was very careful washing around that area.

Does anyone know?

They are stuck on with 3M double sided sticky tape and there are two pins usedon theGTemblem used as pilot holes to align the GT emblem with the fenders.

Correct, I was going to debadge until I found this out. That is the only thing I can't stand about the car. I might just remove and fill in the holes when I paint the mirrors.

I wish I had thought of that when I had the rest of the bodykit done on mine. I have the mirrors painted and you will not be disappointed. They look 200% better to go with the rest of the car!

really? hmmm i thought that the holes were to bolt it in, didn't know they were just alignment things.

Yeah, I tore mine off and saw the holes and just put them back on as I did not want to do any more body work at this time and focus on performance this season!

Okay, so the Mustang badge is actuallybolted on, but the GT badge is just stuck on, am I correct?

From what I gathered, they are stuck on with the 3M sticky tape and there are 2 pins used to keep it aligned.

But to tell you the truth, I like the GT emblems on the 05, but not my 01 so much.
