I'm getting about 32 mpg with my '07 V6 Pony ... bought it with 4 miles on the odo, changed the muffler to a Magnaflow, and I'm now at 770 miles with 24 gallons used. I do about 75% highway driving, and 25% stop-and-go city traffic.

V6 versus GT on fuel economy = not much of a difference.

Unfortunatley

Probably want to go with an import if you want better gas mileage

I know they stopped making RSX's in 06, by new I meant from like 05+, well thats what my Wife considers knew because you can still find used cars with the factory warranty.

ORIGINAL: timothyrw

if your talking acura rsx they discontinued them, i think w/the '06 model year.

i get 24 mpg highway with my 06 gt 5-spd at 70mph. but it's soooo hard to go just 70....

that's figuring it outon a calculatorat fillings.

Well I didnt necessarily need a car with good gas mileage, just something better than a v8 Mustang, and a Ford, LOL. I said something to my Wife about getting a v6 with a 5spd and she laughed and said, "no, I dont think so, if we trade in the 01 than were either getting an 06 or 07 GT, 350Z, or a Cobra, LOL. I love my Wife, shes always thinking about me when it comes to cars, LOL. She also said maybe a new RSX-S, which wouldnt be bad.

I've never checked my mileage, and I couldn't care less. I drive my Mustang and enjoy it. If mpg is your thing, you're missing the point of these cars.

I disagree. I think keeping a check on your mileage will let you know all is well with your car. If you notice a sudden drop in mpg, then it's time to get her checked out.

What he means is, you don't buy a Muscle car for the gas mileage, you buy it to have fun in.

I bought a V8 sports car, so I can't complain when i'm averaging just over 20MPG

06 GT manual, stock gears (3.55), stock tune and airbox (wife won't let me get a tuner/cai until next month. grrrrrr).
'Sweet spot' is right at about 65MPH, where I get close to 30MPG.
At interstate speeds of 75-85MPH I get right around 26MPG.
Around town I average between 20-22MPG.
