Default painted mirrors

i got them painted today. what a difference.the best thing about them is i can wax them and make them shine. why didn't ford do this to begin with?

The maker of the mirror covers probably didn't want to paint them. Ford saw how much it would cost to have them each painted each body color and decided no.

I agree with you all .... the painted mirrors is the only way to go!! I cant believe Ford didn't do it at the factory .... frickin corolas have match paint mirrors!!

I'm suprized you waxed them already .... I thought you had to let them breath for a month or the paint adhesion would be bad. Did you use a special paint or process??

If you look around you'll be amazed at how many makes and models don't have painted mirrors. BTW..mine are painted. And yes they should have had them painted all along.

It really does add that extra bit to make the exterior look cleaner. I have had mine done for about 4 months now
