change blinker sound
i read somewhere that the s197 doesn't use flashers anymore and the blinkers/hazards are controlled via computer. That means that the "flasher" noise is coming from a speaker somewhere... Could we change the sound to something else? Maybe a drum or water droplet, or ooh... a girl moaning?

RE: change blinker sound
Yea, that's one of the old school sounds I wish they had left in the past.

RE: change blinker sound
OK, this is gonna sound really old, but when my dad rode in the Mustang for the first time, he said the blinker reminded him of the "clicker" toys that used to come in Red Wing shoes when he was little (late 50's, early 60's) He still has one, and I'll agree, it sounds just like it......they are both anoying after a while...

RE: change blinker sound
Yea, you could change the blinker noise. But it's going to involve plugging into the micro and changing code which is kinda impossible to do.
At least for the average shade tree mechanic like myself. ~Fletch~ |

[blockquote]quote: ORIGINAL: Aziraphale My current girlfriend laughed at my blinker too. [/blockquote] just wondering, why did you feel the need to insert the word "current" |
RE: change blinker sound
Because she is the one between hisLAST girl friendand his NEXT girl friend, therefore his CURRENT girl friend.
lol Some people change girl friends more frequently than others! |
