I just need the springs, right? I'm thinking of getting Saleen springs from some auction site for $200. It says it fits the GT, but it should fit the V6 Pony too, right?

if you just want to lower it yes i believe..but u won't be able to adj. anything also the performance won't be as great as if you would go with other things as well.

GT springs are a different rate because of the weight difference. GT's are 225lb more. So you put those on and probably would be the same height. Best to buy a kit meant for the V6.

200 lbs is nothing but I would agree to put on 1.5" springs and you'll get a 1" lower. 200lbs is just another person sitting in the car.

uuuuhhh - ..... a 225lb spring rate difference isnt the same as 200lbs in the car ,dude.

get a set of springs meant for a v6 car. v8 springs will ride like crap. FoMoCo has something like 8 different spring sets for these cars for a reason.
