A bunch of guys got together from the LIStangs.Com club - great to hangout with some other Stang enthusiasts.......BUT........there were also hooked up GTO's and Corvettes lined up on the other side and let me tell you that I've never heard a car sound so good like the GTO with an exhaust system. Each one of them had such acammy, lupluppy,throaty, gurggly, muscly, mean-*** sound that made me extremely envious. The inside of the car is also very neat and well proportioned. Unfortuantely, theGTO exteriordoesn't look that great. BTW, they were pretty cool dudes...a lil dorky, but cool.

I'm going to do all I can to make my car sound like that......

hey.. ya two of my friends have a gto.. one blacka nd oone spice red.. the black one has slp's.. and it sounds soo nasty.. i love it.. and the stock red one.. stock exhuast,, and it still sounds soooo nice.. when i pulls.. in first lets say.. omg.. i wanna cry..

but i guess thats what happens when u have 6.0 liters.. ?..

insane.. but ya im out to do the same..

i dunno if moto blue RS and off road h-pipe will do it.. but thats what im gunna try

hey also.. did you just see them meetin up and drive up?... or did u know someone?.. explain.. bc i saw a car meet last night.. and i wanted to go over there.. but there was alot of cars and ppl.. and mostly hondas and stuff.. and VW's.. so i didnt want to stir **** up.. u know?..

A member here has Kooks LT's, Kooks catted X and Magnaflows and it sounds very close. He's part of the LIStang crew as well.

I heard A BUNCH of different exhaust notes at this meet for our cars and not one of them sounds like the clips you hear online. DO NOT BASE YOU DECISION ON SOUND CLIPS FROM THE INTERNET!!!!

Thanks for confirming my opinion that the GTO is just not a great looking car. Same for the Cuda, Roadrunners, etc. Possible exception for the Superbird

People at car meets are usually very nice from what I heard. I would try to park beside another American car and just introduce myself.
