RE: 3.73s For My V6
Salley do the whole thing at once, you;ll spend about @200 more but you get way better response, better handeling and you will never have to worry about ripping the back edn up to do that in the future. Good luck with the install its a pretty hard task and not for the back yard mechanic....

LSD would be my first choice
mpsautosalvage.com has used 3.73s for $50,
stangmods.com has tloks and drivetrainspecialists.com has a detroit true trac
dont forget a motive bering kit, and you will need a tuner if you dont have one (get one of justins vmp tunes)
if you feel dangerous, sacrafice the extra 1 highway mpg and get a set of 4.10s

thats the whole 8.8 rear end with T-Lok, and 3.73's for $850 but if you call them you'll be able to talk them down a decent amountbut [:-]i didnt tell you. Putting the whole rear end would be a much easier and more reliable job rather than taking the whole differential apart and messing withlining up the ring and pinion perfectlyand that annoyingstuff. The only other thing you would need is this http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=757which only about $45.

Thanks for the great info! I wanted 4.10s to begin with but I wasn't sure how ideal they would be for a V6. You'd think they'd be better?
