no, except u might have trouble getting off the line when u put it in gear. i set my idle to about 1000 so that i can get moving easier from a dead stop.

I am running a Brenspeed 93 tune and my car idles at 1200 rpm's for about the first minute after start up, then dropsto about 900 rpm. Is 900within a normal range or does it need to be lower? Sometimes it just seems kind of high.
Manual or automatic tranny? If you're at 900 for an auto, that's fine. As stated 750 is average for a manual tranny, 850 for auto. If you're an auto, the extra 50 might be so you're that much closer to converters stall RPM meaning you won't have to hit the gas as hard or as long to get off the line.

After warm-up 620 in neutral idle and 720 in drive idle.
Those are the figures I have programmed into the PCM. There is absolutely no need to have the car idling at a high number while in neutral, hense the 620rpm. The reason for the 720 in drive idle is because I have under drive pully's on the car and want the idle to power my accessories, AC, stereo, battery, rocket launcher etc. etc.

Might want to get yours to a shop. Idle isn't supposed to go UP when in drive.

They all will idle aound 1.2k for up to a minute or so in warm weather then drop to whatever your tuner is set to. It doesn't sound as if anything is wrong with yours. Do you know how to access the custom settings in your tuner to see if it's set at 900rpm?
idk about the predator, but with the xcal2, when you are reflashing ur car with a tune, the handheld programmer will ask if you want to change custom parameters or something like that, say yes, then scroll down the list till you see the option for idle rpms.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies. I am going to connect the programmer up to it tomorrow when I have some time to see exactly what it's set at.
