Default Wideband Commander Gauge install in center panel, PLEASE HELP NEEDED!!

Alright, I am going to go to a muffler shop and have them drill and weld the bung into my exhaust for my dyno jet wideband commander. For the rest of the install I am looking at mounting the gauge itself in the center panel. I am not going to be removing the air bag cover etc to get the center panel off but for those who have removed the center console cover and stereo fascia what is involved...screw location etc?? please any advice would be very helpful....I know its a 2 1/2 " hole saw...cover the radio etc to mount...but what else....
thank you

It's usually 2 1/16, not 2 1/2.

I have seen a picture somehwere where they had put the gauge in the vent. I google searched for it but came up empty. I too got a A/F wideband monitor and would like to do an install, but don't want to cut a hole anywhere or get the pillar pods, as I only will have 1 gauge, at least for awhile.

Anyone know the vent pod adapter thingy and where to get it?

I am actually considering gettting the triple pillar pod from SOS and selling my 4 week old double pillar pod. That way I do not have to cut any holes etc. I may just go that route and save the hassle...does anyone know if there are any fit issues with a wideband commander in the pillar pod. I know obviously I can not mount the data log device there..but anyone else mount there af wideband gauge in a pillar pod?? please advise...pics too if you have
