Can you PM me with the TSB. I have had the same problem a few times with my 06, and I didn't realize there was a TSB for it. THANKS

Are you sure you are shifting to 3rd? Shouldn't your rpms be at or near 3k in 3rd at 50ish? I rarely look at my tach so i'm honestly not sure. Do you still have the stock tune?

thanks 06StangGT, but as i said in the title my car is an 07 and i have never heard of a dealership doing warranty TSB work on a car not specifically listed within the parameters of the TSB. GGGRRRRRR.

for our purposes, let's just assume that it is the fuel pump. either way, i have to decide whether i'm going to take it to the dealer or ????
I understand your frustration, and this will fix it. http://dagostinoracing.com/index.php...ducts_id=11411 This is the Ford GT fuel pump, and it sells for $110.00. It can handle up to 650 horses, and it handles my 07 GT with ease. Never a problem after that, and it even runs better. Lift the rear seat, and look on the drivers side for the cover to the pump.

Did you install the ford gt pump yourself? I've had one sitting in the box for months now because i'm afraid i'm going to blow myself up installing it. What i'm not sure about is what kind of connectors to get that can be submerged in gasonline.

Well some people have got to go to the dealer syndrome. Atleast it seems that way on this forum. I guarantee there are people here who never experienced the problem, but because their car is listed they will take it in and demand they fix it.

No doubt in my mind.

Some dealers will give you **** and say that just because your car is an 07, the TSB doesnt apply, you're not making the **** up!! I don't get why dealers say this. Why would you bug them with something if it's not happening....OBVIOUSLY ford didnt fix the issue for the 07's

now THAT'S a great idea. i was thinking in the back of my head, "why not upgrade to the gt500 pump while I'm at it?!", but i shrugged it off as too complicated. would you mind explaining how you installed the gt500 pump. i'm relatively savvy with mechanical stuff, but i'm interested in how you kept gasoline from getting on everything!
