Default Ummm...I need a part....

But it is not an easy part to find...neither I nor the parts counterman and the stealership could find it....

I kinda broke one of the two the studs that passes from the passenger compartment to down under the car and holds the shifter to the body...Don't ask how, it is stupid...but none the less...I need a new one...

Does anyone know what the part number of that stud is...or where I can get one????

Ouch I know the feeling... I snapped off the bolts that hold on the wheels and had to get those replaced... Me and bolts dont do well together...
Surprised that the dealer doesnt know what it is cuz i know exactly what your talking about... but if I remember correctly they are are just 2 screws that slip down from the inside shifter box... you could probably get away with drilling out the screws and just going to a home depot and getting new bolts and nuts to slide in there... double up on metal washers if the hole u drilled is too big for the new bolt head...

Make sure you get grade 5 or 8.8. Do not buy the cheap crap, it's not made for automotive applications and will snap like butter.
