Default Vaccum gauge question!!

newb question...

is a vaccum gauge only if good if you have a turbo/super charger..

or does it work no matter what ... stock.. etc..

why would you need it or want it if your not running any boost?

IMO if your not running any boost there is no purpose to having it.... other gauges would be much more useful:
fuel pressure
oil pressure
water temp

as examples
