roush hood scoop
I'd like to add a roush or roush lookalike hood scoop. Rouse sales direct look a little expensive( course they do offer a painted scoop). Can anyone out there help me with a best price source you've had good luck with and would recommend? Thanks Oh yeah, does rouse send good install instuctions - is it fairly easy to install?

The roush instructions and template are great. No problems whatsoever.....
I dealt with Lizzie over at Texas Hot Rods for my pre-painted roush scoop. She gave me a great price with great service.....

Sandy, the instructions from Roush are very good, and the template gives you clear locations to drill the 7 holes you need. Be sure to take off the hood liner, put something over the engine to catch the shavings, and use a computer blow can to blow the shavings off your hood afterwards to avoid scratching it.

Ya the Roush scoop is easy to install. Main thing is to center it up real good. You cut out the holes for the washer squirters and that gets the back good but still can be a little off in the front. What I did was mark the center of hood on a piece of tape and line up the center line on the template and worked out great. Good Luck.

Can you please explain a bit more about the washer squirters? I did not think they were affected by the install of this scoop? Thanks

The template has a spot where you simply cut out the windshield washers and lay the template over top. It helps to center up everything, but double check the front like Jay said. You don't do anything to the squirters, they are only a reference point on the template
