White Stripes on Silver Car?

RE: White Stripes on Silver Car?
I have a satin silver vert. I would stripe it black - I personally am looking at the stripes from graphic express (I think) that go just on the hood, are pretty wide and have a pinstripe around them - they dont go all the way to the hood front. Like these but without the shaker scoop (although that looks very nice)

White would be different but not a lot of contrast with the satin silver.
I also don't think the chrome wheels would make any difference. IMO - the wheels don't have to match the stripes but to each his own. Good luck.

I never even considered white stripes....don't think that would work.
I really wanted to do dark metallic grey or charcoal stripes, but I found out that the metallic stripe vinyl had a shorter life expectancy, and it was about 20% more expensive.
I went with black, and get bombarded with compliments.
BTW, I have painted Bullitt wheels in that Anthracite (dark grey) color.

I have silver with black now...looks good, but the vinyl must have been cheap (I bought car used) as it is starting to get pitted and looks like crap. Im thinking about getting them painted on the same color as the 17 in bullit wheel spokes, (anthracite I think its called)...what do you all think?

I think that would looks sweet as hell personally!
By the way, white goes with any color people! Just as black does.

A local has a silver car with no stripe, full ground effects and he has chromed the heck out of it...front grille, mirrors, hood pins, taillights. It looks awesome.
I highly recommend painting the stripes vs. sticker. I got my car painted & clear coat by the local body shop. Hood, two color chin, rear spoiler and black out taillights. He had it for a week $1,000.00. No special treatment, just wax the whole thing!

Ghost stripes look great as do ghost flames.

No, don't do it. You need a darker strip if stripe at all.

Now you're talking. Different story there.

I always tell everyone to do what "you" want. If you want contrast, great. I like contrast too. But don't worry about what others think. Nothing wrong with opinions but when the time comes buy what you want. Some people like a stock look so to them, nothing will look right. Others like a suttle look, so anything bold or having contrast, they won't like. And so on. Do what makes you happy. You don't want to do what most others have done, then you won't be happy and your car will look like everyone elses.
