That's how they make money. Just likewhen theytell you topurchaseNEW bolts for your suspension - it's BS and you really don't have to.

yeah, normally i say f@ck em and just fix it my way. . . but i have to go to the dealership anyways for unrelated stuff and figured what the hell. maybe they won't pee in my gas tank if i spend my entire allowance on these insanely expensive, low-tech,poorly madeplastic screws [sm=lol.gif]

Sounds like that "you'll shoot your eye out" little kid in the Christmas Story that helps his dad change a tire at night and he loses all of the lug nuts when his dad upsets the hub cap with the nuts in it that the little kid is holding. Sometimes you got it all under control and somebody else bumps the hub cap with all of the nuts in it. Either way they are lost. Hope you get it fixed.
