26K for a GT and some decent mods for about 2K and you'll beshowing all those Shelbys your tailights!

The mods on that are a bit too much to accurately give an award to the base engine... Especially considering its even a larger liter'd engine with a supercharger. Its barely even the same engine.

1+ that is what I love about the motor in the mustang of any year they are so easy to mod and get great numbers with relatively small amt of money!

While on the topic... I installed my CAI today. I've been using an 87 octane tune, so I installed the preinstalled JLT tune with the CAI.

WHOA. Nice. Couldnt believe it. $209 and it was a whole new experience..

Back in the day I slapped a CAI on a 98 eclipse. It sort of gave it a gurgle... Maybe... but no real improvement.

Gotta love how these stangs were built.
