Default How to go about getting aftermarket rims

Going to order a Mustang GT but would like aftermarket rims. Questions: Is is true that (per Tire Rack) the GT's have air pressure sensors?! If so, do will the factory hardware work with the aftermarket rims -- even if my car comes with 17's and I replace with 18's? Looks like base factory wheels don't go for much on Ebay-- any recommendations? Should I get base 17's and sell them with the tires, or upgrade to 18's, put the factorytires on my aftermarket rims, and sell thefactoryrims, withouttires, on Ebay? Will Ford dealer give me some kind of credit (perhaps if I buy the Ford Racing SVT Cobra rims through them)? Thanks for thehelp!!!

Yes, the 07's come with sensor's that are strapped to the wheel. If you want aftermarket wheels, you'll just need to buy new bands, pop the ones off of the factory wheels, and install on the new wheels. I bought my bands from the dealership they were about $50 ea. but I've heard that others have found them a various parts stores for much less. Either way, it's not a real issue. As far as what you want to do with the factory wheels....do like me, start a collection in the attic!
