i've heard pads make a big difference, but i've heard the duct helps a good amount too. i'd like both, but i don't intend to change the pads until they are done for.

If you want good pads on a budget try Performance Friction Z-rated or Carbon Metallic. I've had them on every car I've taken to the track or autocrossed. I even put them on my trucks.
