Just went outside and checked...Yes, the button does inflate/deflate the drivers seat. Makes me wonder about my salesman...[&o]

Sounds like warranty work to me, Stuart!

Have you read the owner's manual? Might be all kinds of goodies you didn't know you had.

So is this possible to DIY, or am I gonna have to go to the stealership? Will they fix it or just replace the seat? Anyonehavea shematic of the front seat showing the lumbar assembly?

That inflatable lumber cushion is a God send for me. Without it I feel about 3 of my vertebrae slipping into the well of the seat-back [&:]

if the car is still under warranty why would you even bother trying yourself, just take it in? Besides which, if you did try to fix it and couldn't, they might see you've had a go and duck their responsibility.
If the car's not under warranty then I'd probably have a sniff round to gauge access to the seat internals but most likely give up after a few minutes. Seat mechanisms are second in unnecessary complexity only to gearbox internals to me LOL

It's under warranty. But..last timeI had it at the stealership they gouged my rim (which they replaced). Too many stories of nicks, scratches, etc., etc.If they're just gonna replace the seat, then I'll let them - my leather is 1.5 years old and showing some signs of wear and tear, so a new seat would be a nice bonus. But if they're gonna go in there and try to fix it, I'd rather try that myself first.
