Default Intake/ Cold Air Intake

I PURCHASED MY STANG AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR AND I HAVE SAVED ENOUGH MONEY TO COMMENCE UPGRADING IT. I DECIDED TO START OFF BY INSTALLING AN AIR INTAKE, SO HERE IS MY QUESTION, WHAT INTAKE IS THE BEST ONE OUT THERE FOR MY STANG? ALSO, WHAT ELSE SHOULD I UPGRADE AFTER THAT?? ANY SUGGESTIONS??

You need an intake with a tuner combo... Intakes on these cars increase airflow immensely, and the computer needs to be reprogrammed witha tuner.

There are plenty of models... JLT and C&L are the cheapest of the good names. People complain about K&N and Airaid, which are also cheap. Then theres more expensive ones like Steeda etc.

Its a good start on modding.

Before you purchase you may want to read this:
http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...e_comparisons/

Make sure you get the tuner / cai package. Really wakes the car up.

Have fun.
