Default The Saleenator

ok... so after a month of sitting in my living room, it goes in tomorrow.
I'm gonna drop it to SuttonHP and hopefully by Monday everything should be rockin'
Here's the setup I chose to go with:
Saleen S/C
3.60 pulley
KB Boost-a-pump
39# injectors
HTO spark plugs
Steeda Complete CAI (includes the hi-flow inlet elbow)
Custom tune by SuttonHP

So, what do you guys think my numbers should be?
I'm aiming for somewhere around 420-430 to the wheels. Do you guys think this is possible?
btw it's an auto

I have the Saleen with a 4lb pulley, long tube headers with Magnaflow cat backs and a CAI and the best I got was 395RWHP. For me, I don't need anything else! Once I got the 4:10s in the rear, it's hard to keep the thing on the road.

I'm serious. I have heard many times people have been disappointed with the saleen. But if you're dead set on it, that's fine.

Hmm, Depends on the Dyno and tuner.... I'm at 445rw with the 3.2 pulley... LT Headers X-pipe... and manual... I think I'm getting 9.5 lbs of boost out of the 3.2 (due to the flow of the exhaust, less back pressure = less boost)

If I were to guess, I'd say somewhere between 400-420.... but there are so many variables....don't get too caught up in the dyno numbers game...

I had the 3.8 and I was at 400rw and then the 3.4 I was at 440ish (but a lot more torque and different dyno) then the 3.2 at 445rw

regarding the Saleen as a blower... I like it, but IF I were to do it again I would have gone with a Kenne Bell 2.6... only cause it can go higher with the boost...I think Saleen is only good up to 15-17 lbs where as the KB can go 20+... Of course Forged Internals would be necessary for either...I'm just thinking about the future and the possibility of doing a forged set up...

the Saleen is fine, it's a great looking install, and it is quiet compared to the other blowers...so it can kinda be kept a sleeper if ya want...

The saleen is more than fine to just have fun with the car for a good while.

I know what you mean it's just that I already got the saleen sc and selling it or waiting for it to sell while I drop 6k on a whipple would be a bad move don't ya think?
I know that probably the whipple or KB would make more power, hell, I even considered getting the Hellion turbo kit from brenspeed... but for now... I think this should do it.
besides... I need to build that engine anyway if I ever consider that this won't be enough.

Perdi, I'm guessing yours isa manual?

Oh ok, I read wrong. I thought you were considering ordering that stuff. But I definitely see where you are coming from.
