Default Steeda CAI and MAF

I'm not sure if I got this right or not...
I just bought the complete Steeda CAI. Do I still need to get a mass air meter or does the CAI come with a replacement one?
I've had people recommend me to get a 90mm Lightning maf, but I thought the CAI comes with it.

you are supercharged right?//stock air meter pegs out at 5v...so a new one is needed....I do think the Steeda SHOULD come with a new MAF...is it in the package??

I purchased my Steeda CAI + High Flow Inlet with an SCT Tuner from brenspeed. The instructions from Steeda state to reuse the stock mass air meter. Their website states that a tune is required for the installation of this part.

yeah I know they say it requires a tune, it's just that I thought since they say the kit replaces everything forward from the throttle body it replaces the MAF as well.

tj,
yeah i will be supercharged soon. dropped the car of at the shop today for the installation.
I left the parts there so now I can't check if it had a replacement or not. hmmmmmm
hope the shop's not gonna pull a fast one on me

actually, it does use the stock maf sensor.the housing inlet is big enough, youmay need to change the sensor in the future. I did, switched to a lightning 90mm mass air meter. it depends on your pulley and boost u run
