I got the Steeda locking lug nuts for like $30. They require a key to get them off and I sleep a lot better knowing there's some added protection guarding my wheels.

I'm happy everyone wasted money on locking lug nuts... Because for the same price I will purchase this:

and visit all your garages while you sleep

Locking lug nuts aren't a waste of money. MOST people don't have that theif kit, and anything to make the theives take more time to steal my wheels is better. The longer it takes, the less likely they are to actually steal anything.I don't rely on wheel locks alone. I have an alram as well.

Locking nuts are a waste of money... If someone wants your rims i promise you they will take them with or without that kit

By your logic you are claiming that a set of rims bolted to a car with locking lug nuts are stolen just as easily as a set of rims sitting on the curb.

I don't know any other way to say it. If it takes longer, they are less likely to be stolen. If I were in the business of stealing things and suddenly see that things are going to take a lot longer than I am comfortable with, I am going to reconsider. There's a much better chance of getting caught with every extra second that goes by. There's really no arguement here.

But if you feel fine with your stock lug nuts, good for you. Let's hop no one steals anything from you.
