So I installed my new Granatelli intake today on my 07 GT. Followed the instructions to a T and after plugging everything in and reinstalling the negative battery cable, the engine light came on and had absolutely no power; almost died. Anyone know what could have caused this? I put the stock intake back on and no light, runs great now. Could it be a bad MAS from Granatelli?

I have the granatelli intake but i didnt install the MAF with it ... im not sure it could be a bad MAF your computer obviously insist reading it correctly .

There was a bad batch going around back in late fall. I had the same thing happen. I sent it back and got a C&L. It fits much nicer, and is more cosmetically attractive, but you will need a tune with the C&L.

Just call them and they will take care of it. I love mine it really made the car come alive and i have had it in a year now with 0 problems. Mine is a 5 speed and i did not want to mess with a tune and i did get a 2mpg increase.

I had mine since last Aug. and it has performed flawlessly and given a great boost in performance. My recent trip to the track got me a best 1/4 mile of 13.4 with an otherwise stock 2007 GT.

So I called Granatelli and spoke with Morgan. I explained my problem and it turns out that my harness to the MAS was bad. I asked if they could send out a new one with a return UPS label so that I could send the bad one back. Sure enough, the package arrived today with the new harness and retun tag. I plugged in the new harness andmy 4.6 came alive. Wow!!!
I give many thanks to Morgan and the guys at Granatelli for their exceptional customer service and know how in tracking down the problem.

C&L now has an insert to allow their intake to be used without a tune.
