The larger the diameter of the wheel, the more rotating mass, the more power it takes to turn em. With that said, the larger the diameter of the wheel/tire the more expensive they are, usually.

Actually, the diameter of the 19" is the same as the 17"{about 26.6}. the tire is just smaller on the 19,so rotating mass should not be much different, however,I will be going wider so that will make more mass.

go for the 19's if u got the bread. they look better, and ur right about tire size, etc. power loss will be very minimal. its not like ur going from 17 to 10000000000

even though the overal diameter maybe the same.... there is more mass at the outer rim which requires more power to turn them. if your not concerened with a few 1/10ths in the 1/4 then it doesn't matter much

You beat me to it. It's not like we are bolting some damn semi tires and rims on there. Why do some folks think bigger is always bigger?

check this thread out... many pics of cars with 19's and 20's...

https://mustangforums.com/m_3201222/tm.htm

Ijust went with 20's on my car.. I get them in 4 weeks or so...

I only drive a mile to work (whenI don't walk) soI was not so worried about road comfort..

18 is good for brake upgrades, anything more is rice.
