Default Eaton S/C

I am thinking about putting in an Eaton SuperCharger in my stock Gt (Auto). This would be installed at the same time as 3.73 gears, exhaust, and of course a tune.

Problem is, I am hearing that a S/C can shorten the live and depedability of the vehicle. If this is the case than I would just go with a CAI since maintaining the depedability of the car is very important to me.

So, does anyone know if an Eaton SC affects the life/durability of the engine or have I been misinformed ??

Anything you do to the engine to give it more power will put more stress on it and shorten the engine life.

dude, its 100% worth it, its not gonna make the car blow up at 75K miles or something. go for it!

which eaton are u gonna go with? i believe the only kits that have eatons as the main unit are the RoushCharger (Eaton M90) and the Magnacharger (Eaton M112 or M122 i think).

if you have a choice stay away from the eaton style superchargers. They are the most inefficient s/cs out there.

I too would shy away from an Eaton huffer. I'd go with Whipple or KB....but that's just me.
