Have you lowered the car and not corrected the pinion angle for the change in ride height?

Nope, car is not lowered. No suspension mods at all.

Just bumping this to the top in case anyone else has an idea...

I'll be taking it back to the shop that replaced my bearings this weekend to see if they can figure it out. Something is wrong with the rear end that is causing bearings to start making noise after a short time. I have had no gear whine since they replaced the bearings and reset the rear end, only this other noise.

I would have another shop take a look at it and make sure the ring gear and pinion are not damaged. Call me skeptical, but they could be hiding there installation errors.
