Default help a brother out

I'm looking into buying one of the 07 mustangs, V8, maybe a convertable. Just wondering how they hold up and what issues there are with them, repairs and all that crap. I test drove one of the V6 models (dealer wouldn't let me take the V8 out for some reason) and thought it was pretty good. Any info would be apreciated.

My '07 is holding up pretty good...Only thing I don't like about it so far is the stock tires have next to no stick, whether wet OR dry...I can spin 'em REALLY easy. When these wear out, I'll be looking for replacements that are stickier.

I have 5,800 miles on my 07. Haven't had any problems with it at all. I love this car!

A little over 11,000 miles so far on my 07. Only problem I have is it wasn't loud enough stock, and I'm spending all of my money on more mods.

Good info, please keep it comin. I'm really leaning towards gettin it. I've been wanting one since I was a kid and I'm diggin the new ones a lot. Right now I'm debating about the mustang, a jetta or a 325 bmw. I've got an 89 bmw now and its held up great after 160k miles on it, hopin I can get that kind of life span outta my next ride.
I just don't want to end up with a lot of repairs like the old tauras(s) I had that seemed to fall apart around me, blown transmissions and engines and suspensions. It looks like its a well built car from everything I've read, and I don't really beet on my cars to much and take good care of em so i think it would last. I'm also I little sheepish becasue I've never spent more than 3 grand on anything before. I should probably just go buy the thing and enjoy myself
