well im on route 3, everyone slows done because there was an accident and this idiot is behind me, we start moving and i feel a huge bump, like when i floor it and it jumps a gear well it was the idiot with the audi, late at night, no visible damage or anything, what are the chances there was some damage done? please i need opinions

Depends how big the bump was.

I was once rear ended by a car doing a 30mph difference. But I was braking so my rear ended lifted and his car slid under, and out again. No damage.

If the Audi pushed the bumped in then sure, it could hit the spare tire well... But since its an SUV I'd imagine it hit higher and just took the impact with no damage.

Be more specific on how big the bump was... And get up under there and look.

Your bumper will be scratched for sure....it doesnt take much for that. Shouldnt be anything more than that though.

is it odd if theres no scratches? none at all, only water dirt from driving in the rain, well i was off the break and he had an audi suv with the rubber bumpers so he gave me a push basically and when i felt it, i stopped and got out to check and i couldnt find anything, maybe im blind, or maybe im just too damn tired, i checked again at home with the lights of another car

Plastic bumper might have absorbed the impact and popped back out once the cars moved apart. Noticed that on mine when I watched a damn Prius driver relying on their video back-up screen to judge their distance hit mine. Some minuscule damage on my stripes, but thankfully (for them at least) barely perceptible.

Check it again, run your hand along the impact area to see if there's any roughness and go from there. Hoping for ya that there's no damage there though

watch for spider cracks, my friend hit a bitch with his front bumper when he thought she was going to turn right so he looked over 2 c if traffic was clear and the dumb bitch stop 4 some reason and when he turned his head bak he had hit her and now he has spider cracks on his front bumper, at st there was nothing so i hope u got the persons info
