I don't see how I'm implying mine are ugly. Rather, you somehow inferred it. I love my louvers, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them, much less installed them. All I'm saying is that while both sets look good, I prefer the look of the 7-slat to 6-slat. IMO the Astra-Hammond aluminums compliment the lines of the car better than the others out there (so far).
Louver choices aside, I'm guessing yours (the Visus) have the hinge on a bracket on the glass? I apologize if I mislead anyone, but I was under the impression that most hinged louvers attach to the roof and require drilling. Guess I was wrong...

....it was just the way you stated the 6 slat ones were uglier...I was just being technical...for something to be described as uglier, is implying that the original item (in this case your 7 slat louvers) is ugly....its all in good fun...they do look awesome on your car by the way....

Can they be painted? Thats the perfect style i like but i think i will paint them on mine as i have no black accents. Which model is it? I know there is more than one. Looks good !
