Default Question about C&L CAI Filter

Do you have to oil them occasionally to keep them functioning properly????

I will probably just replace the element when the time comes. Did not plan to add any oil. Cleaning and oiling can be tricky and the MAF does not respond well to an oil film.

Just my2 cents. Others may have a good deal more experience.

You only need to re oil them after you clean them, maybe once a year depending on mileage.

You could just replace with a no-oil filter. Amsoil makes these.
