I was thinking of going the other way (old School) and putting some 15" or 16 " wheels on mine. anyone know the min size wheel that will clear calipers etc.

Won't clear the brakes.
V6ers can't go smaller than 16".

Why would you want to go smaller, the larger diameter rims are used in conjunction with low profile tires anddesigned to prevent understeer and improve the handling capabilities of your Stang.

I think my car looks "old school" with 18"s

Original replay was correct though, 17's on a GT, 16's on a v6 or you won't clear the brakes.

Yes...I agree. The spokes on the factory polished Bullitts extend all the way to the lip of the wheel & the Torq Thrusts have the double dish. It makes them look smaller in diameter.

This may not apply, but for the track I use 15 inch Bogarts. I don't use them on the street at all, but I don't whether Bogarts make a rim of that size, suitable for street use???
