Default Wheel size ( how small can you go? )

I was thinking of going the other way (old School) and putting some 15" or 16 " wheels on mine. anyone know the min size wheel that will clear calipers etc.

Nothing smaller than 17".

Won't clear the brakes.

V6ers can't go smaller than 16".

Why would you want to go smaller, the larger diameter rims are used in conjunction with low profile tires anddesigned to prevent understeer and improve the handling capabilities of your Stang.

Those look smaller than a lot of the 18's, I think it might just be the style or something ... either that or my 18's just look bigger cause of the style.

Original replay was correct though, 17's on a GT, 16's on a v6 or you won't clear the brakes.

Yes...I agree. The spokes on the factory polished Bullitts extend all the way to the lip of the wheel & the Torq Thrusts have the double dish. It makes them look smaller in diameter.

Your ride looks SWEET!

I notice the tires are different sizes. What sizes are you using?

This may not apply, but for the track I use 15 inch Bogarts. I don't use them on the street at all, but I don't whether Bogarts make a rim of that size, suitable for street use???
