Default 3dCarbon Duck Tail Spoiler

I just bought a new 07 GT and I am thinking of adding the 3D Carbon ducktain spoiler. Does anyone have any pictures? My car has the stock spoiler and I also wanted to know how to seal the facory drilled holes. Finally, how was the install? Thanks for the help

There's no way to seal the holes and make it look GREAT without having the holes filled and the trunk repainted. I took my spoiler off and have little plugs on my trunk for now...looks kinda crappy but way better than that silly spoiler.

There are a few other options though. The Cervinis ducktail covers the holes totally (a few others do too) Cervinis also has a new smaller ducktail that has little pieces that stick out and cover your holes. Classic Design Concepts (CDC) has a spoiler that looks almost identical to it and they sell a kit with little metal prongs that cover the holes.

The CDC and new Cervinis ducktails look a lot like the 3dCarbon one you are talking about. The CDC has no opening for the 3rd brakelight though.

I personally plan on getting the CDC ducktail and plan on filling the holes and having the trunk repainted.

I thought the 3d Carbon spoiler covered the existing holes? I was wondering if there was a need to put some kind of sealant over the holes which would be beneath the spoiler.

Yes, the 3D Cabon 3pc deck spoiler will cover the factory spoiler holes. To be on the safe side, I always recommend using some clear silicon to seal up the holes not in use. This way, if water does find its way under the spoiler, it cannot drip into the truck of the car. Here is a link for some pics and info on the 3D spoilers.....

Any idea if it will fit with the factory installed GPS antenna on the deck lid? Or will the antenna have to be moved?

Thats way too expensive... Go to AtlantaMustang.com and pay half that and get it prepainted.
