Mine is still stock, I just torque brake it to 2000rpms then just floor it. I don't know how it'll react after the tune.

My experience has been flashing the the converter by just flooring it when the light turns green. I picked up 2 tenths doing that. It has worked on my 03 Mach and my 05.

Auto Launch...MAKE SURE T/C IS OFF.....leave in drive.Avoid water box....Large front tires carry water to the line....Do a shortburn-out in front of box to clean tires...Pull to line and set light...Apply Medium brake pressure......Hold to about 1800 rpms...(over 2000 rear wheels start to break loose) ....when you see the next to last light (last yellow before green)...Floor it while letting off brake...... Wave good-bye to the guy next ot you!
