O/R Pipe with stock muffs?
I'm going with an exhaust upgrade, but am undecided. I am about to pull the plug on a set of Stingers, but also want to eventually go with an O/R pipe. Does anyone have a clue what the stock GT mufflers sound like with an offroad pipe (X or H)? I'm afraid stingers with an O/R pipe would be a bit excessive LOL.
Thanks for the info guys!!

They sound great, that is how I roll. You will have to get mill eliminators or a tune, to fix the check engine light.
Try www.breenspeed.com for sound clips. Also for parts they are great.

Thanks a ton Hogpowr! that was mucho-quicko. Now for another question - what are mil eliminators (have read about them)? I'll eventually go with a CAI and tune but until then I assume I should run the mil eliminators. Maybe I'm going about all this backwards though and should get the CAI and tuner first?
Again, thanks for the help!

You might be going backwards depending on what you want.
I would get the cai and tune first b/c you wont need eliminators then...you can turn off the sensors with the tuner.
The eliminators make up for the lack of cats...

I think you helped me convince myself that I should start with the tuner/CAI to avoid having to buy the mil eliminators. Plans are to go with 4.10 gears too so I assume I'll be able to recal the speed0 with the tuner too.
Thanks again guys. This forum is the best!
