i'm picking up an 07 gt this weekend on the z plan. very excited. i had a few questions.

first of all... does anyone have a picture of a black gt with tungsten stripes? that's the color combo i'm going for, and i just wanted to see what it looks like.

2nd, is it better to have the dealer do the stripes, or use another vendor like baltimore street mods? i live right near them (30 minutes) so i could have them do the install, as well as buying the stripes there.

What is the Z plan?

it's the retiree employee pricing. same as the "A" plan. my grandfather was a vp for ford a long time ago, i think he retired in the early 70s. i'm eligibile through him.

if you type black gt stripes on search you will find several of them.

If Baltimore Mods specializes in stripe install, have them do it. The dealer might have a high school kid do it and the work will be horrible - unless they can prove to you somehow that the person who would do it is expert at it.

I personally would go to Baltimore if I was that close. My stripes were put on by the detailer that goes to all the different dealerships in the area for pin stipes and decals. Gave me a great price and did a perfect job.

Go to Baltimore street mods! I would have paid them to do it in a heart beat if I lived there.

good point! My dealerships actually outsource this type of stuff.. find out who the dealerships use and go directly to them... cut out the middle man! LOL!

But then again, i don't think you can go wrong with Baltimore either!!
