I've got the shaker 1000 and when I listen to really bassy songs there is a very loud, cheap sounding rattle from the outside... sometimesI can even hear it inside.
Even whenI don't have the volume up that loud it sounds like a cheap ricer with walmart subs...
When I open the trunk, the noise pretty much goes away so i was thinking its something to to with the trunk latch or something. There is a plastic piece by the 3rd brake light on the trunk andI ghetto sound proofed it by temporarily wrapping the edges in cloth hockey tape so it doesn't rattle against the metal trunk lid, but whenI shut the trunk again it still sounded like a garage door in a hurricane.

Just wondered if anyone has the same problem and knows what this annoying cheap noise is!

Thanks for the reply but I went and held my hand tight against the tag and the frame and it was still rattling like crazy!
I don't know... just a minor annoyance I guess... I might as well just forget about it, afterall it's the people around me who its gonna annoy, so who cares!
I'll prollay make a video of it tomorrow and post it.

To Hammeron: YeahI know its prollay some random littletiny thingsomewhere back there... haha i'm just going to have to mess with stuff... I will try that spare tire thing, it actuallymight be something around that area. I haven't lifted up the trunk flooring to get to the tire so yeah it might be down in there somewhere! =)

To BlueHerd02GT: I could do that, and that im sure would work... but I just can't... I love bass =)

It might be your spoiler get yourself some dynomat(sp?). also I have one 12" memphis sub and I found that a huge source of rattle in my car was the backseat seatbelts. the clip rattles agenst the side of the car. just a little tip

Ohhh yeah the spoiler! I can see when I stand outside the car the spoiler shakes pretty hard...I bet thats one of the problems right there... I need to look into the dynomat stuff... thanks man!

Nice stang!!! Just a wanted to ask you though what type of rear spoiler is on you car I seen the same spoiler on car at "GAS" but havent found it for sale anywhere.
