Default dash trim removal

Tried the search, but no luck.My problem is the two panels where the airbag deploys.Does it just snapoff and on,or is there mounting hardware somewhere? Also if it makes any differenceI have the aluminum dash trim. Thanks

Yeah,it looks crazy.I do have to remove this piece to remove the center piece W/ the two vents right?Thats what I'm needing off.But last time I had the dash apart it had two bolts on the left side and I'm guessing it has two on the other, under the air bag dash panels.

Glad it worked out safely for you. So, were you correct in that you need to remove the passenger side air bag panel to get the center piece off? I've always wondered about this......

YES. There is two bolts on both sides of that piece, plus two bolts on the vent on the end of the right side. And you have to take the two panels on the outside of the radio off to also remove the center dash piece! Not too bad just tedious.
P.S give me a few minutes and I'll go take pics !
