Going to have my whipple supercharger in a few weeks or so, after I put about 1500 miles on it or so. Should I stick with the stock exhaust or should I swap it out? I heard if you get a better exhaust it would keep the supercharger cooler?
If I should get an exhaust, what would you recommend? I wouldn't mind a nice deep sound... but I don't want a super loud exhaust.

I know ProCharger has a S197 on their site claiming 600 HP with stock exhaust....but the bottom line is better exhaust helps your car breathe better. There's no point in ramming all that extra air in there if it can't get out easily.

IMO... the stock exhaust is fine for most non-race set ups. Ford did a pretty good job. If you want to improve the sound that's another story and very subjective to your taste

IMO The stock exhaust is OK.
The exit is a little suspect, (to small) I would change to flowmasters 3 chamber with 4" outlets. they sound just a little louder and have much better back pressure numbers. With a SC, getting the air out is important.
