anyone know what that would cost.. or maybe cheap way to do it with out looking cheap?

powder coating should cost like 20 bucks per rim at most.

I can't believe that price. I just had tri-bars powder coated and cleared for $40 each plus shipping. If you want a nice job, i can see you spending about $130 to $175 per rim.

i gotat get some real numbers or something.. also.. do you think this is something i could buy some paint for.. liek duplicolor has some wheel paint..

i dont want to fck up my wheels tho.. i like them how they are.. but the black would be cool as hell too

powder coating : uses very fine dry particles of resin with the pigment color of your choice. The resin powder is applied with a spray gun similar in concept to applying solvent based paint. The difference is this spray gun and it's resin contents are electrostatically charged. When the resin powder is sprayed onto a part it sticks to the metal because it's grounded, attracting charged resin powder like a magnet. The charged powder adheres to the metal then melted by baking at 400F degrees in special industrial sized ovens. The melted resin fuses to the metal, providing a uniform, thick and durable finish. The result is a beautiful glossy finish that is very resistant to chemicals, wear and chipping, 3 times stronger than solvent based paints. Powder coating simply provides a quality finish that can be seen and felt for years.

some lady who runs a shop that does coating for mostly exotic cars quoted me $75 for the full set, tho she said it may be more depending on masking.

PersonallyI wouldn't try and do it myself unless i had an old pair of rims to practice on. I think this is something to leave up to the professionals to do. And for my other 2 cents, i'd go with the powder coat, you just get a better and longer lasting product in the end.

I don't know why...but I think an all-black mustang really hides the cars lines.
