Default POR-15 for rear axle?

Has anyone painted their rear axle with POR-15? I don't like seeing the rust and was thinking the black would clean it up some.

Might want to use the engine paint version....although I've found regular rust-o-leum proffesional to work just fine!

I painted mine the day i brought the car home. I used VHT Black Brake Caliper Paint and it is very durable and hold up to heat. I taped everything off and painted away.
