Hood catching wind

RE: Hood catching wind
I think it has a lot to do with 1. the hood material and 2. the large seam between the hood and fenders.
1. Isn't the hood aluminum? I think it's a different material than the last generation.
2. It seems like there's a larger than normal gap between the hood and fenders. I feel like i can peek under the hood with as large as it is. It's no wonder the wind gets under the hood so easily.
I wouldn't worry about the flexing. The hood is locked down by the latch and it isn't going anywhere. I wouldn't get hood pins just because of the worry.

Well, it is re-assuring that at least no one has had anything worse happen than the shaking. It makes me really nervous at higher speeds. I guess I will just keep the hammer down and try not to look at it!
