I was thinking about tinting my back windows next week, and would love to see a car with dark interior with 20% or 35% also. Can't decide which one to do yet..

I got 5% all the way around and also have had two tickets for it...O well, I'm breaking the law so I'm not gonna bitch about it. Though, I can't keep on taking 130 dollar tickets and stuff, so I might be moving on down to 30% which is the legal limit in Texas, well actually 28% is but llumar doesn't make a film in that percentage. I love having my tint really dark so I can choose when I want people to see me and when I don't. Roll em' up or drop the top either way it looks good!!!

Please remember, it all depends on the angle too. The 35% gives it a nice darkened look which is what I was going for. I was not going for the blackout look where people (ie. cops) can no longer see you. If it was legal, I would have gone 20% to make me a bit less visible in direct sunlight but as is, I'm happy. Looking directly across or out towards the windsheild means you are very visible and is not as dark as it looks in those pics. It will ghost you a bit but not like a 20% will.

Oh, and to the guy in VA, 50% is not very much and I'd consider the 35%. Usually cops won't give you much of a hassle with that as they can still plainly see you.

A running joke around here is that they must hand out tint meters at the academy graduation ceremony.
So I need to keep it legal.
Still not sure if it's even worth it for the sides at 50%.
May just slap louvers on the quarters, tint the rear 35% and call it a day.

I wouldnt pay 100 for it...maybe if they charged 50 or something

I have 35% on the front and 50% on the back. I don't have a before photo though. Whatever you do make sure you use moleskin. I didn't, and have scratches.

don't know if these work well. I have 35% on the 3 rear windows. Feeling a need for tint on the door windows, as my new polarized glasses show my tint breaking up during the day!
Just have to find one single tint place that knows what I mean when I say "Moleskin"!

I recently had my tint done. It was a gift and i hada gift certificate. They never even asked me what i wanted they just took it back there and did 35 which is the legal limit here in MD, I kinda wanted 20 but now i think of it, Im very happy with the way it looked and i still want the ladies to be able to see in.

Im waiting on my moleskins to get here i havnt rolled down my windows yet, till i get those on lol. I pulled back that little strip and wiped a rag through there and i did get a lot of dust ,
