35% is legal here in NC, but I'm not sure it's dark enough for me, so I'm hoping some of you may have some before/after pics with 35% tint.

What color is your car and interior? A dark interior and it will look pretty decent. It obviously won't be blackout like a 5% or 20% will but I have 35% on a black car with black interior and am happy with it. I'll have to get you pictures later though as I'm at work.

I've decided my next wallet leaker after my CAI/tuner comes in (patiently tapping fingers) will be 35% tinton the rear and quarters and 50% on the sides (legal limit in VA) and I'm curious to get an idea of how significant the difference would be.
My interior is red, tho (well, slowly developing a 'pinkish' hue. grrrrr).

My interior is parchment, so there goes that. My exterior is WVB, so maybe that's light enough that the contrast will make the tint look darker.

I have 35 on the sides and 20 on the quarters and rear window, which kept melegal in MO. I have charcoal interior...all and all the tint looks good and probably a little darker than others, but I regret not going 20% all the way around. Unfortunately, the tint shop wouldn't do illegal tinting.

35% tints with the right color interior and exterior will look good.

more than 35% may be too dark

If you have light interior you need to go 20....i had 35 and you could see right in there like no tint at all....with 20 it looks much better.
