My neighbor bought a Z06 and had to write a check for $83K. And that was after a lot of looking and travel to get it.

I drove out mynew 2006 Mustang GT premium convertible in November for a check of $27K.

Z06 for $65K? I would have to see that to believe it.

A dealer here offered to sell a new one sitting on the showroom floor to me for MSRP which was something around $70K and change. I told the manager I was surprised and expecting a markup of some kind, and he said "I'm running a business, not an auto museum." I didn't like the payment however, so I went the cheaper route for now. Someday though....

No way in hell you paid 27k for a brand new GT Vert loaded.Don't care who you work for.Don't care who you know Don't care who wrote up the paperwork wrong..........It didn't happen.
