I talked to Two Idiots this morning and neither one owned a Dumbestic car or even knew what one was. Maybe some enlightening , so I can inform my dumb friend just what adumbestic car would look like. Eah? They both said they flunked their mind reading class andhad no clue. They both drive the Gullishkin car.

all cars will have some kind of problem. cars are machanical and machanical things break, and or wear out. weather its a ford, toyota, honda or a chevy. there is no such thingas a problem free car.

I put 203,000 (3.5 years) miles on my 01 F250 7.3 4X4 CC LB Lariat before I ever spent a penny to Fix something. Obviously that doesn't include Oil, Tires, Brakes, and Filters!! I would call that perfect!!

I have heard this for a long time. Ya know, a Yota, or honda is no better quality than a Ford. If people quit buying that Jap carp and buy Ford/Chysler/ or even Chevy then the Japs wouldn't have auto plants hear and the big 3 would be bigger. It's not the cars it's the people buying them. When you see someone buying a Jap car, ask them WHY?
Americans have the right to buy what ever they wish, I would remind Americans, that would also include American Cars.
People say that the jap cars are made in America, I say So, That just means the Japs that own the company , that live in Japan, Hire some American Slaves to build their cars for them, There is a huge requirement to have "Made IN America" label on your product, and even if it is assembled in Iowa, That don't mean it gets a "Made in America" label.
Toyota, makes a good product, so does Ford. So why do Americans buy Jap cars?????.
I would bet my last nickel, that NOOOOOO World war 2 vet would EVER be caught dead in a Jap car. Not because we were at war with Japan, but, because what japan people did to Americans, Same with Korea, Vietnam, etc.
For those that are some what computer literate, look up Admiral Toyota and World war 2. His family owns Toyota INC.

I have heard that the Toyota FJ's have major engine problems, that is not trivial, I hate to say it but it seems that Toyota picked up General Motors habit of releasing vehicles to the public before proper R&D and engineering problems have been worked out. I have never taken a survey, but my vehicle has never been taken in for anything since my purchase December of last year, That said, I have fixed minor rattles and squeeks myself, I also own a Lexus and the Mustang has been about as worry free and reliable as the Lexus I purchased a few years ago. Way to go Ford, hopefully this good press will help increase Ford sales. I hear the Fussion is a well designed trouble free vehicle that has not come close to meeting sales predicitions. Maybe this will help

I hear ya, my dads 2001 F-150 4.6L had 220,000 in 3 years and he never complained about a single thing. probably 35% of that mileage was done in dirtroads since he works in the ranch and so.
+1 on that truck lol

a vehicle with 203000 or 220000 miles i am sure there are some ball joints or something that need to be repalced. nothing lasts forever.

MyDrivers sideBall Joints went out at 211,000 miles. I think that had something to do with the fact that side sat under water for 10 hours about 3 months before!!The passange side are still original!
