is that saying that 100 problems per 100 vehicles is GOOD????
and that 91/ 100 is the best?
I guess you should assume what ever car you buy you'll need to take it in for at least 1 problem!

The Ford Mustang ranked as the most problem-free "Midsize sporty car" in the survey while the Mercury Milan was the highest ranked midsized car and the closely related Lincoln MKZ was the top-ranked "Entry premium car."

Toyota's quality has been slipping in recent years. Glad to see Ford improving

Yeah, but you have to realize, it could be something as trivial as a non-functioning brake light, or loose trim somewhere, not all problems are catastrophic, leave you stranded ones.................

(sarcasm mode: ON)
People who buy "dumbestic" cars are idiots and their cars will just fall apart in two years.
(sarcasm mode: OFF)

Toyota and Honda both are dropping their quality. That's been the case for a couple of years now. Toyota is finding out just like Ford and GM did that it costs a lot to stay on top. Toyota may be #1 in salesnow but there is a downside to it. Quality. The only way to maintain their quality is hike their prices up. How long do you think they'll stay #1 if they price themselves considerably higher than the Domestics...not long.

American Automakers are going to have to overcome the stigma assocated with them before they're going to be profitable, regardless of quality.
