Ok so I just got a set of red lights for my clear corners, and that ugly white light is going to be gone. Except I heard that LED's are directional and if you put them in the wrong way they blow.
How do I know which direction to put them in, because they can be put in either way in the socket?

in my experience, LED's are indeed directional
usually there is a leg that is longer than the other....

True but there is no harm in pluging them in backwards, and actually the corner LED's seem to be non-directional, which kinda confuses me, but I suppose that's good.
