Baby Seat For a 2005 Mustang
 

Laugh all you want to, 'm not selling my 2005 Mustang I'm goning to raise my little boy as a Mustang enthusiest!
I need to find a car seat for a little one that will fit in the back seat of the s197 model Mustangs. Any help is MUCHO appreciated.

My son is 13 months now and is out of the original baby seat that attached to the stroller and is now into what called a convertible carseat by Greco. The seat fits fine and so did the original. I just put a towel in first to protect the leather and then belt it in. It does help that mine is a drop top because you have much better access to belting it in when the top is down.

I have a Graco in mine, but I was thinking about that Simpson seat. Any front facing seat will fit without much problem. I couldn't fit a rear facing in though unless I jammed the passenger seat all of the way forward. And definetly get a SeatSaver from BabiesRUs. It looks and works a lot better than a towel.

I love taking my son for a ride in the mustang, and he likes it a lot more than mommy's mini van:D

I have the Simpson seat in my Mustang. It is really just a Graco seat with Simpson logos but it looks pretty cool and has nice padding. My two year old son loves riding the "Black Mustang". (acutally he more or less says Bla ustang but he can point others out on the street). A forward facing seat will fit fine. I used the latch anchors. Never tried a rear facing or one of the infant pumpkin seats with base but there were some pictures with it mounted in the center.

That simpson seat looks awesome... ::blink blink:: can't believe i just said that about a booster seat...epitome of dorkdome.. is that something to put in the mods? "Simpson booster seat for my 4 yr old" LOL I think most of the people are putting it in the middle, so that the tyke doesn't have his/her feet against the seat, and can put them between em...

I currenly have a forward facing and it actually fits very well. We have another one on the way.. so I am going to have to find a way to have a rear facing seat and the forward facing seat. Shoud be interesting.
